unfourtunately no =[. my dad was & still is an acoholic. i wish he wasnt but he is. my mom left him when i was 2. i was younger & didnt really know better. but he abused my mother & im glad she left him. i remember i walked into the bathroom & i saw a big chunk of my moms hair in the trashbasket. i will never forget that. after we moved out, i saw him once in a while. and now im 13 gonna be 14 in february. i havent talked to my dad in over 2 months. i know now that my mom is struggling to keep me & my sister with a roof over our head. my dad does nothing to help my mom. she does everything by herself. i feel bad for these mothers who have to be a mom & dad. i know its not easy. i know because i had to grow up with a dad who drops in once in a while. he also does crack. so yeah, i know how hard it is.

I was raised by my stepfather from the age of 2. My mother and my real dad broke up when me and my brother were really young. I spent weekends with him when we lived in the same state, but then my family moved out of state. I then only saw him for about a week or two when I would visit my family in New Jersey every summer. My mother married and had my youngest brother 3 years later after she married. Both of my brothers are married now, but I do think of how it would have been if I was around my real father grwoing up. I'm 26 years old now, and sadly I don't see or talk with him. It's been almost 11 years since I have seen him. He never tried to make us a priority in his life and I don't have any anger and I don't hate him for it. I guess I really do forget about him most of the time.

Yeah. I lived with just my dad from the time I was a year old until I was 14. He was always there for me when he could be. I am an only child so even to this day we are very close. He's the one that I credit for raising me.

Yes i did have him around even though he used to go out more than he stayed at home. I guess he was not there like he was supposed to be.
