Crocodiles are large aquatic reptiles that live throughout the Tropics in Africa, Asia, the Americas and Australia.
Cocodiles are carniverous. They eat meat. That means they kill other animals for food. They live and hunt mainly in water habitats like rivers and lakes, but some species like the ocean, too.
As they live mostly in water, shelter is not really necessary. They just float around, camouflaged as a log.
