The implications would be more political and ultimately the fault of the British, who were instrumental in the imposition if the Jews State in Palestine in the first place. If Iran attacked Israel it would be the result of one of the last gasps of British view of themselves as a great world colonial power.

To George Bush the "root cause" of Iran attacking Israel would be Iran attacking Israel, he is that shallow. The real root cause would be the 1917 Balfour Declaration. the implication is that the British should have kept their meddling to themselves and all these problems could have been avoided.

There would be no religious implications. It has already been established that Iran hates Israel and doesn't believe they have a right to exist. The only religious implications would be that the majority of Democratic societies would pray for a just outcome.

THE (country) Israel,was once Gods chosen people, it is not now, Christian men, and women are NOW the Israel of GOD .The word Israel means Gods own people, not the peace of land Israel.
