My employer lets say had stolen my identify and he put 4 address on my credit report. The reason he got my identify to begin with is because he tried to steal my wallet. The thing is I got those fake address taken off now I had my credit card and check from my bank. is there anything else getting a credit check and getting those fake address off. Should I tell social security or the bank that someone else used my bank account number or should I tell social security that my employer was using my social security? What do you think please let me know.

First, contact the police. Make sure that you had it documented that a crime was commited against you.

Contact TRW and tell them that you are victim of identity theft. Through them, all of the major credit reporting agencies put you on an alert placing safeguards on opening new credit under your name. Contact your bank, let them know that too.

Also, contact the credit reporting agencies to ask how to get those bogus address deleted from your report.

you need to call the credit bureau and put a fraud allert on your credit. so they would know that people are stealing your credit and they wont allow anyone to mess with your credit, and also, its very important that you get a police report, even if you don't feel comfortable doing that. I've done it, just go to the police station and tell them that your identity was stolen and they will tell you what to do or where to go , then you'll talk to someone, fill out a report and that's it, it only takes like half hour for the whole thing, this way if anything happens again, the police report will help you, and never loose that police report, the number for the credit bureau is 800-525-6285

First thing you want to do is close your account and reopen new ones. Who's not to say they won't try to access them. Next call all three Credit Agencys(Trans Union, Equifax, Experian) and put a fraud alert on your reports and put an alert on the reports than no one can extend credit unless calling you first. You dont know who else had access to your social number so I would also advise getting a new social security number as well.

Absolutely go to the bank and tell them what happened. Also let Social Security know. What he did is a crime. It's called FRAUD.

The bank and Social Security will know what to do.

If you can provide proof of the theft, and can provide documents, showing that someone else has been using your id. Take them to the authorities, continuing on up the ladder until you have been clear. Then take your employer to small claims court and get your money back for all the trouble you went thur to clear your name and credit. Good luck.

Change any important ID cards
right away, report him to the police even if it is not proven he will know you are on to him and won't try it again with you or other people. He can not fire you for
you reporting him for doing this, if he does, report this to the Labour Board and file a law suit
for wrong ful dismissal.

If you can prove they are the ones behind this, prosecute them all the way. If the district attorney is not interested you can get your own lawyer and privately prosucute them. Go for it.

Your not the first one they have done this too I'm sure. So go for it.

If you don't shut them down they will just do it again to some one else...you owe it to the rest of us to stop them if you are in a position to do so.

I think you should tell the police and have him thrown in jail. Once he's been convicted it will be alot easier to get your credit cleaned up. Also, I'd start job hunting if I were you. You don't want to work for a crook, do you?
