I can't believe he would do that

There are two things that you misunderstand here.

1. God does not send people to hell. We are ALL worthy of damnation! We are not sent to hell, we are saved from it. He doesn't push people in the fire to burn, He's the fireman that offers the way out of the fire. He doesn't push people in the water to drown, He is the lifeguard that offers the liferaft. But, you have to WANT to be saved.

In order to want to be saved, you have to WANT to believe The TRUTH (Jesus, The Word).

2. There will be no one who does not know of Jesus.

The bible (The Word, The TRUTH) says:

Romans 14:11,12
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, EVERY knee shall bow to me, and EVERY tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then EVERY ONE of us shall give account of himself to God.

I don't know HOW that is, but I do know it is TRUE. Keep in mind that God has a way to do things that we can't see nor understand. I remember my Mom doing things when I was a child and I was like, "HOW DID SHE DO THAT?" How much more can The Father perform?

Do you believe Jesus/The Word/The Truth?

Be blessed!

I believe God will send people to hell. It was hard for me to accept until I took a look at all the serious suffer in the world and how He allows it. To me there already is a type of Hell and so many people already live in it everyday. I have lived in what I would call hell before I met Christ. I would never want to go back to that torment. Forget that I'll stick with Christ.

Neither can I. If the god of the Bible exists, it's obviously evil.

"Consider all of the people who live in the remote regions of the world who have never even heard the "gospel" of Jesus Christ. Consider the people who have naturally adhered to the religion of their parents and nation as they had been taught to do since birth. If we are to believe the Christians, all of these people will perish in the eternal fire for not believing in Jesus. It does not matter how just, kind, and generous they have been with their fellow humans during their lifetime: if they do not accept the gospel of Jesus, they are condemned. No just God would ever judge a man by his beliefs rather than his actions."

I believe everyone has an inward feeling that there is a supreme being and if they are sorry for their sins and accept a God they believe must exist, and they never heard of Jesus, think they may be saved. I don't know all the answers, but the bible says God is good and just.

Neither could the early Universalists. Universalism (now Unitarian Universalism) was established on the tenet that a loving God could not condemn his children to hell, that all souls would be reconciled to him. This was revolutionary then and remains revolutionary today in the face of evangelicals and other denominations that preach hell fire and damnation.

Since that time Unitarian Universalism has evolved to an even more inclusive denomination. For more information on the history of Universalism, you can visit the Unitarian Universalist Association web site.

Oh, silly people...Do you think God would condemn anyone because of ignorance?
Rejecting Jesus takes a conscious decision. For that, one must have heard of Jesus and learned a little about His life.
For those that have not heard of Jesus, Paul's Epistle to the Romans covers that rare scenario.
God is fair, and just.
Those that have never heard of Jesus will be judged on their works according to their conscience.

Who said God was sending people to hell for not having heard of him, God or man?

GOD has a law. It is like the law of gravity it simply is. We are born with everything we need to understand GOD's law. Everyone will pass through Jesus on the day of judgment. The judgment will be perfect because the judge will see all the evidence. If you were not aware of the law then you are not under the law. The law is actually self evident. Now,,, that said. If you are aware of Jesus and his finished work on the cross and reject it, then you are on your own.

Hope that helps.
GOD bless ya,

God would not send anyone to hell who has not heard of Jesus. What ever gave you that idea. When Jesus started his public ministry he said that he did not come for the righteous. There were people who never heard of him and they were already considered righteous. That still applies today to people who honestly follow their conscience and lead a good life even thought they never heard of Jesus.

I'm absolutely certain that there will be people in heaven who have never heard the name of Jesus. God has sheep in every different place in the world.
