Friday morning around 12am she woke up vomiting. She threw up 2 more times during the night and once more around 8:30. She didn't throw up anymore but ran a fever and didn't eat anything all day. Then Saturday morning around 3 she woke up vomiting again. She threw up 2 more times around 7 and 8 am. Then she ate an apple around 9:30 and kept it down. No more vomiting all day, but she didn't eat anymore, etiher. So this morning when she was complaining about her tummy hurting I figured it was because she was hungry. She wouldn't eat anything so I finally got her to drink milk (I KNOW! I KNOW!! BAD MOVE!!). That came up around 8 am and she's thrown up 2x since. I know she's hungry but she won't eat anything that is bland enough for her to keep down. She only wants water and an occassional sip of Pepsi and she keeps whining that her tummy hurts and wants me to rub it. I don't understand why she goes such long stretches w/out vomiting and then all of sudden she's at it again?

She wil eat when she is hungry. My daughter did the same thing when she had the flu. As long as she's still taking enough fluids, I would not worry about forcing her to eat. Stay away from dairy and sugar. See if she'll drink some pedialyte, not gatorade. If she begins to vomit more than she has been or if she quits taking in fluids or quits peeing, u need to take her to the er. U van take her to the dr right now, but they can't really do anything 4 the flu unless she's dehydrated. They may give her a decongestant or something for cough and tell u to give her some tylenol or motrin for her fever. Antibiotics would do nothing for the flu. Hope she starts feeling better.

I hope you've taken her to see her doctor. It doesn't sound like the flu to me! As for feeding her, try come saltine crackers and chicken noodle soup, but only give her the soup. At least that way she'll stay hydrated. There could be a number of things wrong with her, starting with appendicitis. she'd have lower right side tummy pains. GET HER TO THE DR'S!!
