I badly sprained my ankle about 3 weeks ago. I was in a hurry going down the stairs, lost my balance and landed on a bad side of my left foot, causing my left ankle to be stretched going on the inside. The first 48 hours were excruciating and the pain was un-believable. I've never had a serious ankle injury before.
So I immediately treated it using the RICE method. The following day, the bruising and swelling were so horrible. I found out that I got a second degree sprain and immediately panicked after that. I had a football game on that week and it been looking forward to it because I've been training for rt. I had teammates that had similar injuries and it took them months to fully recover, some of them stopped playing altogether. So I kinda had a short-term depression because I can't imagine myself not being able to run and play sports anymore.
Because I was so desperate to recover again, I contacted a lot of people that I know who do sports and asked them if they had similar injuries. One friend of mine, from the boy's football team in my university, told me about H.E.M. Ankle Rehab. I got a copy 4 days after I got injured. I immediately read and followed what was instructed and felt improvement on the first day. I was able to walk a bit, but I was in pain.
A couple of days after that, the swelling and bruising were subsid-ing significantly and on the fourth day, I was walking comfortably again. Although I've had felt a bit of stiffness, I continued doing what was instructed. My sister was surprised that I have recovered this fast. I told her about this book and was shocked on how effective the procedures were. I'm just so happy that this book was shared to me and how effective it is.
Heal your ankle fully & fast?

Hurting yourself on purpose can get you put away. It can be considered a form of mental illness and doctors can tell by the bruising pattern and color that it is self-inflicted. If you don't want to be a part of the dance performance, tell someone that. You don't want to hurt yourself. I have been hurt many times and as you get older, those breaks and sprains become very painful. If I were you (and I know I'm not - but IF), I would simply tell my instructor or parents how I feel and let them help me with a feasible solution.

Just think, if you really jump from a bone breaking height, you'll certainly never dance again, maybe never walk again without a limp & you'll certainly get fatter & fatter limping around eatting yourself into obeseity, never enjoying a relationship with a man, looking back on your miserable mistake for the rest of your life reflecting on how exceedingly stupid this question has been posed, merely because you lack some basic common sensical acceptance of Christian values. You're a pitiful excuse for tomorrows future. You're a gutless wonder that fails to recognize a simple utterance of truth that cowardice & stupidity are the result of your own refusal to grow up. Why attempt to help someone too stuborn to help their self? No one can go to hell for you. Your antics are of your own free will. Your embarrasment surely cannot match that of anyone reading your sadassed question.

Please talk to your parents and go to counseling! This is frightening that you are trying to hurt yourself. It is destructive behavior that needs to stop.
Breaking an ankle is not an injury that just cures itself and everything is all better. Even with the best medical care, you could have ankle problems for life.
Also, medical care is very expensive. Why not just tell your parents and teachers that you do not want to perform, rather than costing your family thousands of dollars?!

Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!! It wouldn't be worth it trust me. You break the bones above your leg accidentally and you will be off that foot for quite a while. My grandmother fell and broke both bones and she had to have surgery. It doesn't matter if you're a little larger than your friends. you said you like dancing.

well, the best thing to do is not break your ankles or anything and get over the nerves. if u dont want to do it..just say so. u could jump up and down and then twist your ankle like that..like, roll it. it happens in bball so..ya. plus, so what if u think your fat? some ppl are going to only once in this performance. its not that they really care.

How old are you??? Apparently not very old if this is the only solution that you could come up with. You need to face your fears and start the process of growing up.
