I think that you should be safe with a card.
Ask him what he is going to do on his birthday, maybe he has plans that he can't change with his family.
Hard to say this but maybe his birthday plans don't include you?
Once you know what he wants to do then you can decide what to do. If you want to get him a gift go ahead, I love giving people presents...but I have had to deal with some people not wanting to recieve them, it really hurts when you give someone a gift and they give it back, or don't enjoy getting it.

Usually, I would give you an incredible long answer with a lot of information and reasons to back up what I have to say but instead I'm just going to tell you a great gift for your boyfriend. Get him and photo album of you. With each passing page, he'll miss and want you more. Also, he'll be able to always have you need with this photo album. This gift is very inexpensive but very effective. I hope this helped, good luck.

My daughter always tells me she doesn't want anything for her birthday and Christmas. I'm not sure why she does this, but she is always happy with what I get her. Some people don't know what they want and some don't want to tell you what to buy, they want it to be a surprise. My suggestion, something that you can use together ( a coffee card or movie passes) or you wouldn't mind keeping for a gift for someone else.

Only if you want to. I wouldn't go overboard. Maybe just something little. Or you could make him something. I found that a coupon book worked well. I cut out pieces of construction paper, decorated it with a glitter pen and wrote different things on each one. Some of the things I wrote were:
Present coupon for one kiss.
Present coupon for one dance.
Present coupon for a pickup drycleaning errand.
Present coupon for taking out the trash.
Present coupon for cleaning out truck.
Present coupon for anything goes!
He really liked it. You could fix him a nice dinner as well.

I would think that he probably wants something, just not a material object. My advice would be to do something fun and spontaneous for him. Maybe surprise him with his favorite fantasy and it could be a present for both of you. I think I would rather have that then another stupid bottle of cologne or tie.

I don't want anything usually means I will love whatever you get me because you didn't have to. On what to get him, you should have a close idea to what he likes so get him something to go along with his likes, example: baseball-get him a shirt or cap or something related to baseball, especially his favorite team.

Get him some thing even do he said that. he prob want so thing prob dose want to put u to the truble. my b/day is come up soon and that what i would say. hell ye i would like some thing but just dont want to put some one true the truble and then if u ask wot u want. it even woers. u don t want to say some thing as it may cost to mutch. get him some thing u know he would like!

yeah get him somthin hes being modest but get him a spraypaint shirt with a picture of you and him together doing you both enjoyed or had fun doing let it say the one and only famous couple their is around

hun, some guys are really dumb and say that they dont want anything, wen really they do...... they say that because of their insecurities, the reason is because they think oh i can only give her something cus if my friends of something find out they might think i am a pu$$y or something. just do it, buy him something find out wat he is interested in and go from there.
