it probalby means, 'shut up!' or 'go away!'

You have to be a little bit more specific on your question...
But like all other races, there are several types of girls.
It all depends on how the girl was raised by her parents and what type of friends she hung out with.
Some various type of girls I can come up with on the top of my head are:
1) Gangster
2) Golddigger
3) Devout Christian
4) Studious / dork
5) Timid / shy / passive
On a side note: hajima directly translates into "don't do it". It is used to get a person to stop doing what they're doing.
