For all those questioning evolution, argue against it using facts, not using scripture or religious reasons. Can you give me evidence that proves evolution wrong? Or, is it FACT?

And does anyone who is against evolution for religious reasons actually know anything about evolution?

I saw some of the responses and I want to CRINGE. Is our educational system that horrible? People: evolution does NOT say we evolved from monkeys or apes; it says we had a common ancestor! And to everyone: evolution and god are NOT mutually exclusive; presiding Bishop-elect of U.S. Episcopalean church, Katharine Jefferts Schori, sees no issue with evolution. And there are some theologies that maintain that god is real but could never have created it (given that its predator/prey and mortality models cause so much suffering).

All of these anti-evolution answers are takinga narrow glance at evolution and the breakthroughs in science. Evolution is happening everyday. As for de-evolving, that is ridiculous. Evolving is adaptation, and to de-evolve would stil be evolution, it is still an adaptation. As for DJ, while he makes a good argument, he fails to go beyond the scope of fossil records. Darwins theory was definetly flawed, like many theories. Even Newton didn't get gravity completely right.

No matter what proof there is about Evolution, the willfully ignorant will still refuse to listen to it. look at how nearly evry single person on here said that we didn't evolve from apes simply because there wound be no apes. Look at how they refuse ot even read or hear anything about a common ancestor species. Sorry, but you are fighting a losing battle, until you get homeschooling outlawed and make sure education is equal world wide

No matter what we or anything else "came from" the fact remains that if evolution were true, it seems that we would also have to believe that we have somehow de'evolved.

Think to what evolution has as its basis, that somehow we evolved from something, be in a single cell or whatever else you may want to put in its place.

For that to be true, we would have never "needed" to find another just like us, but of the "other sexual gender" in order to recreate another one of us. If we evolved without having to find another of our own kind in the first place, there would never have been a need (evolutionary speaking) to find another of our own kind, but of the opposite gender in order to reproduce.

There are many more arguments, but hopefully this one will get you to look at the beginning arguments of evolution and not forward to quickly.

Evolution made no sense to me before I became a Christian. Just look at the human body. I can't fathom one cell evolving let alone a whole body.
Which evolved first...the chicken or the egg?
the eye, the tear duct, the eyelid or the optic nerve?
which clotting factor evolved first? there are more than 12 of them and if you are missing one, you will bleed to death.
how can a woman carry a baby with a different blood type and after it's born, if she were infused with that blood type, it would kill her? (If she were type A & the baby were AB?)
It just makes no sense that it could ever happen. FACT OF LIFE.

Why does everyone start with man evolving from monkeys. We would have to go back to some primordial swamp and say that certain elements existed in that swamp and a lightning strike or some other natural event caused life to form. These one celled life forms began breeding upward.
During millions of years of asexual reproduction some life forms grew a penis that gave no selective advantage and Another life form grew a vagina. After thousands of years more the little life forms got together and thier sex organs worked and produced offspring by sexual means.
More thousands of years went by and all the other body parts formed and worked. They just kept breeding upward. The crawled out on land with eyes ears digestive systems and sex organs that worked . eventually one celled organisms upgraded to apes.
I guess if you can believe all of that, saying apes evolved into people is no big deal.
as for me I don't have enough faith to believe all of that happened by accident

Can you give me FACTS that God doesn't exist? No, I didn't think so. You don't have evidence for that either. There is no way to know for sure.

Scientific fact: We evolved from apes.

Logical answer: Why are there still apes running around? Shouldn't they have all evolved already?
