I was very sick once...and had a headache that I thought was going to kill me all by itself. I couldn't eat for days...it was strange, I was so very sick. I remember I was falling asleep, and there was this warm darkness. I felt so energized. It was as if I were perfectly alert, and the essence of myself, I've never felt so wonderful. I also remember thinking that the reason I felt this way is because I was dying...and I jerked myself out of it back to consciousness. Needless to say, I recovered. That was almost 15 years ago.

I don't know if that qualifies as a NDE....but it was very interesting.

I had a miscarriage last year and in hospital haemorraged. I lost loads of blood and had to be rushed to emergency surgery.
Apparently I was close to dying, as I was told after, and remember the experience as like a dream. Nothing seemed real anymore but I felt totally at peace despite what was happening to me.
It was a life changing experience that has affected the way I live my life now, I take nothing for granted and make the most of every day I spend with my hubby, children family and friends.
I was not a religious person before and this experience did not change that.

Yes. It was strange and affected me for years, during quiet moments. It happened at the end of a 15 hour long Asthma attack, in the end I just gave up trying to fight it, I was in a Crash room in A&E at the time. Things became very peaceful. I’d reached a point where I was quite happy to be gone. And it was a hell of a wrench and disappointment when I felt dragged back into consciousness. There is more detail but this answers the above question.

yes, it was weird, nothing like what you read about but def an other world experience.

it was like rising to a certain point, you can call it a light, or a pulling force, but i remember feeling the most terrible feeling of loneliness and a deep feeling that something was very wrong, that it wasn't my time and that i need to get back.

i was under a very high dosage of happy gas at the dentists. he told me later he thought for a minute that he was going to lose me. he had told me before he was going to give me another dose since i was his worst patient.

No,sorry. But I do know someone, a very reliable person, who had a NDE.We talk a lot about it and believe me it's not the usual things one hears about. It's quite a long story but very difficult to summarise it here.Suffice to say he had it while undergoing surgery.

Yeah, you really do see your life flash right before you in 10 seconds..... really wakes you to reality for a while after the fact.
