I don't think that someone being paralized should be a reason to date someone or not. After all , their legs may be paralized but their heart and mind obviously aren't. If you truly enjoy being around a person, regardless of disability, than what is stop to from dating them other than what you're afraid other people will think. Besides, you could learn more about yourself through them and see the world in a way you never have before through their eyes. Sure, they'll be obstacles to overcome, but if you care enough to be in a relationship with someone should they be of a diffrent race, background, etc. than you'll find a way to work around it.

To be completely honest. No,but if like he got paralized after I started dating him yeah I wouldn't break it off because of something like that.Especially if I cared about him.I think that it takes alot of guts to be able to date someone who is paralized and handicapped. It is very difficult to answer this question. But I know for a fact there is this deaf kid in my school and he is really cool and nice I would so give him a chance. But if he was paralized I could be that guys friend but not date them mainly because of the fact I want kids.

Since your asking this question I would say no to you because dating, love, and attraction have nothing to do with a persons mobility (unless your the one who is paralized). When you love someone everything else does not matter. I used to be so caught up in looking pretty and perfect because otherwise no one will ever love me. What a bunch of crap. Caring and kind people like you for who you are not for physical features.

I really don't know. If they were everything in a person that I ever wanted and they just happened to be paralized then most probably but because I have never been in the situation to make a decision, I would hate to put a label on my thoughts.

Sure why not? They are people too. Half the time I don't really notice, they are just another customer. What's the problem? They can be just as nice or just as mean, like anyone else. If I weren't married already I know a few I wouldn't mind dating. I mean sometimes I turn around and take a second look.

Yes.He is still a human being and has feelings, emotions, and wants love and laughter just like anyone else. Many people with disabilities have a far better out look on life then people without a disability. Many have a far nicer personality as well.
Believe it or not sex is not everything to a loving relationship.

I dated a guy in high-school that had a car wreck. He was paralyzed from the waist down-but I cared about him so much and we were such good friends him being paralyzed did not stop a great relationship and I'm so glad I got to have that experience.

No, because I only date a guy with the intention of possibly marrying him in the future and if he's paralyzed from his bellybutton down, then I'd have to change his diapers if I married him!
