They are probably tapeworms. They look like little "white rice". They get them from eating fleas. You need to contact your local Vet and ask them for some Tapeworm medicine. If your puppy has never been wormed before (because almost all puppies have worms) You might request Drontal. Its a wormer that most Vets carry and it gets Tapeworms, Roundworms, and Hookworms. Note that this is not all the types of worms that your puppy can have, it is only some. Droncit is another type, it gets JUST tapeworms. To be completely safe, it would be in your best interest to have a fecal ran at your Vet to see what internal parasites your puppy does have. Worms can kill puppies especially the smaller breeds like chihuahua's. But also know, that if you get wormer for it today, and you puppy eats a flea tomorrow, it will not take care of her tapeworm problem, because she will get them again. Pick up some topical flea medication to take care of the fleas so they dont get on your dog again.

Take your dog to the vet with a fresh stool sample so they can see what kind of parasites she has and prescribe the correct dewormer. If she hasn't been to the vet, yet, she's way behind. OTC dewormers are crap. They don't work well and may not be what you need in the first place.

I would drop off a stool sample to your regular vet for a stool check,if you have a sample of the worm you have described, I would bring that too, they will check the stool microscopically to see what kind of parasite it is, different parasites (worms) are treated with different medications. Good Luck

Most over the counter dewormers are old prescription dewormers. They are usually harsher and not as effective as what your vet would have. Get your dog into the vet and have it dewormed! My greyhound went through this and it can make a dog gravely ill.
