***Which do you think God hates more - morbid obesity, homosexuality, fornication, or taking His name in vain?***

1. Taking His name in vain.
2. Morbid obesity.
3. Fornication.
4. Homosexuality.

All of them carry a death sentence,
according to Jehovah.

The Bible Deuteronomy 16: 21-22
Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole beside the altar you build to the LORD your God, and do not erect a sacred stone, for these The LORD your God hates.

Live and let live.

First of all, God doesn't "hate" .. the "hate" is a sin itself

Secondly, i would say "Taking His Name in Vain" is most dangerous, because all others are dervied from it ..

If you do not have enough respect and belief to not take God's name in vain, then you're very very likely to fall for any other sins including the ones you mentioned

P.S. "oh my god, look at this prices", "oh my god, what a silly man", etc .. they are all examples of the above sain .. which sadly most of americans use hundreds of times per a day ... just think of it

It is not a matter of hating more, it is a matter of loving less. The term that we bring forward as hate in Semitic usage at the time the bible was written meant love less. Since each example except morbid obesity is listed as an abomination, I would say God loves them all equally less than those who follow his commandments. Morbid obesity would fall under gluttony if it was not a health problem and gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins.

Sin is sin. God doesn't classify sin. You could add lying, stealing, cheating, gossip, etc etc, etc
Proverbs 6: 16-19
There are seven things that the Lord hates and cannot tolerate
A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that kill innocent people, a mind that thinks up wicked plans, feet that hurry off to do evil, a witness that tells one lie after another, and someone who stirs up trouble among friends.

#1 - taking His name in vain - for not being humble and thankful. This directly insults GOD.
These affect humans souls:
#2 - morbid obesity - for not sharing with the hungry of the community.
#3 - homosexuality & fornication - for being out of control - seeking worldly pleaseure first, and not involved with bettering humanity first.
This is my thoughts ...

My guess would be taking His name in vain. Afterall, it is number 2 in the 10 Commandments.

To be Mature about it, we are all guilty of sin no matter who you are.! Yet, the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, is the most dangerous sin we could ever commit against GOD. Everything else we can be forgiven for..

Thanks to the person who said taking God's name in vain was the 2nd commandment, so it's an important one. I have a bad temper and do this often, even being a believer! I need to knock this off!

Woah the Christians in this forum really surprise me. You all answered that God hates... God DOESN'T hate anybody, God loves us all, He's all about the love to our brothers. I really can't believe most of you consider yourselves Christians and say "God hates X"... You really need to learn something about Christianity.
