YES i spend a lot of time driving on motorways. I undertake them then pull into the middle lane just in front of them and then straight back into the inside lane. this usually works and gets the stupid people to move over.

The other annoying thing people do is undertake me when I'm doing 90mph keeping with the cue of traffic and then pull in front of me and go slower than i am. they do this because i drive a big van and cant stand to be behind one even though I'm going faster than they are.

Damn this question has got me worked up I HATE STUPID PEOPLE IN CARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This annoys me so much.

If people would bother to use the roads correctly, then Im sure the conjestion on Motorways would be no where near as bad.

The middle and outside lanes are for overtaking only, not driving in. I move to the middle lane, get right up their backsides and flash my lights at them. More often than not they are on mobile phones too.

What alse gets my goat is the people that insist on using the outside lane then realise the junction they need is 20 yards away, so they have to cut across 3 lanes of traffic. Arent the big 20ft blue signs visible enough?

Yes I hate it, you should try a 2 lane motorway when they hog the right lane - very annoying,a few times I had to undertake on the left lane, when it's quiet and they are not overtaking anything. Once I was on a 3 lane motorway, it was quiet and a car was in middle, so I just moved over to the middle, the right to overtake, and then back in middle and left.

No you moron, on a freeway that has three or more lanes I drive in the middle lane, the right lane has mergers and the other one or two are just right for idiots that speed.
I have many people driving up my @ss and I do the speed limit, but I will not move over unless I have to pass some one else, or that I am getting off the freeway.
Any body that fly's up my @ss will get a surprise, and they will never do it again. And this is in the U.S.A, I have the right to be in that lane of travel.

Yes very annoying. I have in the past gone up the inside on my bike at well over 150mph but, with the benfit of hindsight thats stupid. The real question is why does no one get taught how to use the motorway in UK. It would create presedent on exactly how to use the three lanes enabling us all to predict what the fool is doing. This occurs in most european countries but not UK!

In germany they have excellent road discipline and always pull in after over taking, I have even witnessed it from someone travelling at well over 100mph.

Whats with the guy who has answered about STD's????

Yes, they wound me up. I was on the M6 yesterday and there were so many!!!! Its dangerous as well, because people get fed up and undertake them.... i have been guilty of that in the past if its an empty motorway, or Im getting boxed in with the outside lane taken as well. Why should i take the effort to cross two lanes to overtake them?
Idiots.... with no road sense. They are properly in their own world chatting on their mobiles or singing to SAGA FM.

you're truthfully ultimate. One drives on the left by ability of uk regulation and lanes on your suitable are for the objective of overtaking in easy terms. I as quickly as become stopped at a provider station on the M6 and overheard a communication among 3 human beings filling up next to me. It become of course the time for them to alter drivers and the extra youthful woman whose turn it of course become pronounced to the different 2 "I unquestionably have in no way pushed on o a highway in the previous, what do I do ?" She become replied with "Oh, stay interior the middle lane and follow 60 " They regarded as though they have been center administration and have been in a Volvo. There quite could be a significant street secure practices marketing campaign to make human beings attentive to the way topersistent wisely on a highway.

Ask this question, aren't we all fed up with drivers who think they own the road. No offense to you, but you don't own the road, nor those anyone else does, just learn to live with it. Since they are driving in the middle lane, just use the adjacent lanes and pass him, its really not that big of a problem.

I can't stand them - it's got to be my biggst pet hate! I have a mate who's a courier who maintains that only lorries and coaches have to go in the "slow lane". I think it shows that we need further drivers education being made compulsory after passing our driving test. Maybe "L" plates for the motorway or something!

As for what I do - undercutting seems to annoy them - illegal I know but still....

I usually stay to the right so if someone wants to pass me, then he can. However, if the far right lane is full of merge ramps, then I ride the middle lane. If it is a 3-lane road, then people can on-ramp without me in the way and people can pass me if they think I am going too slow. The middle lane is there for a reason, so use it.
