As far as the format goes - YES. However, I don't like the Ryder or Davis Cup or anything in that vein of disuniting people by nationality and then later we're going to be 1 big happy family - WRONG. Colin Montgomerie is still hated in this country because of what happen during the Ryder cup several years ago; the same is true of Dottie Pepper in Europe because of what happened in the Solheim Cup. Leave nationality, and race out of it only trouble comes from it.

Sure. The Americans lost, which is always cool. From an Irishman's standpoint, you really can't be too happy though. Padraig Harrington went winless in 5 matches.
