Recently, a guy that I really like told me that he wanted to date me. He said that the problem was that if he dated me, he wanted to date me forever. He went on to say that he wouldn't though because we're in different grades (Me-Senior) (he's a sophomore). He said that when I went to college next year there would be lots of guys. I assured him that I wouldn't cheat on him. Do you think he'll ever date me?

sounds like he's very insecure - he's scared that next year when u go to college u're gonna forget all about him, but there is no way that u can assure him that once u start dating that it's gonna be forever cause it probably won't be - i think that if u do date, it's gonna be lots of work for u to keep him happy

Trust me, when you go to college next year, you will find a lot of hot guys your own age and you WILL probably want to call things off with your underaged, probably immature sophomore. A soph should be lucky to date a senior, not be keeping her on a leash like he's doing with you! Move on to the next guy.

You guys shouldn't be dating. Enjoy your senior year! Everyone at that age thinks they'll be together "forever" but that just doesn't happen. Both of you will grow so much in the coming years and trying to be tied down to one person when you should be concentrating on enjoying your youth, traveling, and studying will only cause you grief.
