I learned about other religions while quite young. I met people of many different religious beliefs in school, and attended many types of religious services. As for my potential conversion, I'd probably select Judaism. There's also ceremonial magick to consider, but one need not necesarily convert to engage in that. A lot of my friends are Pagans or heathens of different types--Wiccans, Asatru, chaos mages, etc, and that has its own unique appeal. And certain aspects of New Age spirituality are nice, as long as they don't become too flaky.

I've always been aware of Judiasm. Not only did I know that Jesus was Jewish, but my neighbors were Jewish and our families were good friends. I guess I learned that there were even more religions when I was in elementary school.

If I couldn't be Christian, what would I be? Wow, that's a very good question. I would have to do some serious research to answer that question. I think I would still choose a mono-theist religion. A lot of it would depend on WHY I wasn't able to be Christian anymore... those factors would influence my decision.

I first learned about other religions when I was in elementary school, I had a girl in my class that was Jehovah's Witness. My parents did the best job they could teaching me diversity, but when I was in High School I decided for myself that Christianity was for me, Sorry can't answer your other question because it will never happen that I would choose another religion, even if it came to my death.

well im still working on becoming a christian. ...ive been trying for about 1.75 years. maybe i am already, i dunno, but thats beside the point.

about 9 months ago i took a class on world philosophy. i learned a little about japanese philosophy, buddhism, the tao, hinduism, american indian beliefs, islam, the latin catholic church, african tribal phiosophies, and the nonstop birage of new age garbage that came from my professor.

at the time i was worried that being exposed to all these different views would ruin my faith but it turned out to do just the opposite. Every one of them religions i just mentioned has some severely whacked out crazy *** doctorine that, I think, woud cause any reasonable thinking person to say "you gotta be kidding me right?"

If i had to choose another religion... i guess itd have to be judiasm that way i woud still be with the same God. all other Gods are idols.

There is one school of hinduism who religious beief is that the chief end of man is to make money and have a good time. ...i guess i sorta like that one. at least its not loaded with the kind of endless thought circle debate about crap no one knows about anyhow... that all those other religions are.

Christians are not the mainstream anymore. if you want to join the counter-culture come back to Christ and you can be cool AND be with the one real God!

I was in middle school before I was aware of other religions beyond just the name of the religion. It would be difficult to find another religion that would give me love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, meekness, temperance and faith. It is important that the heart be free of evil. I would probably investigate some religion that practiced meditation.

I enjoyed studying approximately Judaism somewhat... and if something, it bolstered my faith in Christianity. pay attention for something strange... yet a sturdy instructor could make it an surprising type. consistently learn, question (in all fairness), you would be bolstered interior the certainty you have.

I don't remember when I first found out about other religions, surely when I was in school (which was millennia ago). As for going with another religion, not going to happen, so I can't answer.

I was a young kid when I learned that not everybody in the world is an Italian Catholic like me, mainly because my own Catholic neighborhood was at the edge of a Jewish neighborhood. If I had to convert, I'd probably become a Reform Jew, like a lot of my friends are.

i wouldn't do a trade-in. i like being an upstanding, conscientious RC. i've learned about other religions, including those pseudo-christian sects, and i say they suck azz. they are not glamorous enough. catliks are the bomb!
