I'm thinking of giving a girl a rose with a poem wrapped around it. We are going to the dance together at the end of October, and i want to give her something romantic before the dance. i am agood poet, but i'm not sure if girls like poetry. What should i do?

OMG! that is so romantic, yes 8th grade girls like poetry! i wish my ex wouldve done that with me! oh well....anyway. that is a good idea, girls love that!
