What brand... and contact there customer service. If it is a company who went out of business. They do have photgraphy shops that repair cameras.. ask them .

I agree with Steves - this is not a DIY job.
If it's an aging camera, it could simply be worn out & need replacement. With cheap cameras, the shuter is built to last just 50,000 shots. As you get into more expensive medels, that goes up to 100,000, and +200,000 for professional models.
Replacing the shutter is generally a +$300 repair.

The best way would be to look up your local camera repair shops and get a few quotes for the problem. It's not a good idea to go inside a camera for a problem like this since you don't really know what you're doing.... you could just make it worse and more costly later on.
