ok but what are the accesories they bring when u buy it.cause i heard u can use a memory stick but it doesn't come with it or a place to put it in, so it'lll cost the same as a psp.

the difference between the DS and the DS Lite.

the DS uses the same charger as the GBA. the DSL has a different connector.

the DS, when folded, is bigger and heavier than the DSL. it's easier to put a DSL in your pocket. but i don't put systems in my pocket... what if something happened?

the DS stylus is smaller, and the DSL's larger stylus is easier to hold

the DSL has the start/select buttons in a much better place, where as the DS had them in places that anyone who's played nintendo systems thinks is weird. the power button is in a better place too

the DSL has a mic in the center, the DS has the mic on the bottom left

the screen for the DSL can be made a little brighter than the DS. it also has four or five brightness settings.

the DS comes in various colors - silver (original), black, pearl, ice and pink, and the DSL comes in pearl (original), black, and ice. i believe, for both versions, getting the color ice in the USA is difficult

the outside casing of the DS is nice and solid. the outside casing for the DSL feels like oily plastic

sorry, i don't use emulators, so i can't answer your last part of your question

the price for both systems should still be equal to each-other

the nintendo ds Lite as the name implies is Lighter in weight and smaller in size than the original ds. it also has a brighter screen. the button layout is slightly different the start and select buttons have been moved under the d_pad and the power button of the original Ds was converted to a slider (like the psp's) in the ds lite. the ds lite comes with an extra stylus and is the same price as the regular ds. u will not need different emulators and the memory stick thingy is probably a lie.

The DS lite is supposedly lighter weight and has a brighter screen. Also the colors are different, the original DS came in silver and I think blue...the DS lite is white (I think they call it pearl...whatever).
I'm not sure you can get the original new anymore. As far as I've seen, they took them off the shelves and replaced them with the lite version. I was not aware of any hardware differences, but the guy who posted above seems to think there are some... You might want to look into that more.
