Is it ok to eat the skin of a kiwi fruit? I say no but my hubby thinks maybe you can.

I cant imagine why anyone would want to, its all hairy.

Personally im not that keen on having small hairy things in my mouth. ;)

I don't think I want to eat it with the hairs. It doesn't seem to be tasty. I eat the skin of a sharon fruit and that of a fig.

Yes you can. Thats how my boyfriend eats it, i dont because i dont like the texture. The skin on fruit always has more nutrients that the fruit itself.

Absolutely. I think it tends to be men that do it and women tend to go, "Eurgh it's all hairy!" The skins are also a good source or flavenoid antioxidants, which helps to prevent cancer. Mmm healthy.

hey hun YEAH! actually lol all you have to do is rub the skin and the little hairs will come right off! ;)....and the skin has several nutrients in it just like the fruit...so eat up....love daisy

I guess you can. I've never heard that you couldn't. I don't like the taste/texture of it. (I accidentally ate a piece of skin when I wasn't paying attention)

You could eat it, but it would go straight through your system and not have any nutritional value. Is it worth it?

Of course you can providing you wash it first. I eat them all the time!
