So this girl that I have been friends my whole life, she is one of my best friends, I've wanted to be more than friends for a really long time, no one knew that i did besides me, so i tried to ask her to homecoming, but she said she couldn't but didn't give me an explaination, this was yesterday, so now that she said that, my other friend, who is a girl, kind of explained why she said no, she likes someone else and wants to go to homecoming with them, i'm cool about that, but it tore me up inside, and she said that she said she just wanted to be friends,, that night i talked to her and asked if we were still cool and she said definately, but she was like the only girl i had real feelings for. How can i show her that we can be more than friends? Please answer!

Just keep being her friend, you have already put yourself out there and she wasn't biting. I have been there and I understand but life will go on and there is probably some girl that has been checking you out and you didn't notice because your sights was set on your friend. If you push the friend, you will lose her as a friend. Good luck.

You seem like a really really nice guy, but she hasn't completely realized that yet. I'm sorry, but right this second she's not really into you. Right now, she just really wants you as a friend. Don't lose hope though, you stand next to her and be the great friend that you have been. After she matures, and realizes that what she really needs and deserves is a nice guy like you that really cares about her, and not a cute guy that she saw, she'll realize that it's you. Don't rule it out forever. She'll hopefully come around eventually. Besides, she's probably already able to tell that you are interested in more (and most likely so do her girl friends) Just try and have fun right now, stay close to her beause even if right now she doen't want anything romantic, she'll still need you as a friend. GOOD LUCK!
P.S we need more guys like you.

DuDe. Alot of times you gotta just tell her how you feel inside. Tell her what she really means to you. Because if you tell her..........the truth is out, and you will know what she really thinks about you. Its a very risky take, and you may walk out w/ a broken heart, but at least you would'nt have wasted your life on something you never would have had, and all you can do is think about her, when you could've taken a chance and gone 4 the gold, and walked away with her in your arms. :-) Hope It works out! :-)

It's hard, but sometimes the person you like isn't for you. You just got to move on and live the rest of your life. She might not be the one for you, so don't try to force anything. She might come around if you give her a little space and quit pestering her about it. If you start forcing her, then she might find you annoying.

if she only wants to be friends, it's best to leave it that way. you will get hurt if you try to push her into something more and you may end up losing her as a friend. try to see someone else. if she is interested in someone else then let her be with that person. if it is meant to be, she will be yours one day. good luck.
