I probably should have said "limitless Love" rather than "total Love"

Yes I have and yes I do. When I realized how much God loves me and he truly started to define what love really is to me and to my life what became important to me was making sure every person I come across can catch a glimpse of that love. People who hate me. People who are mean to me. I love them anyway. Does it hurt - yes. Very much so. Is it worth it... yes. Very much so. Now, it doesn't feel like it at the time - but to God they are worth it. No matter how crappy they are. Love changes things. Love is powerful. I believe in that. 150%. Sometimes you might not see the immediate fruit of your actions but eventually, those moments where you choose to LOVE, 100% - make a difference in the person whom you've touched and how they affect the lives of others. Even morseo - it changes your own heart.

Mother Teresa put it nicely.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

Supposedly, that's the only real love there is. Everything else is special love, based on the 'self'. I thought this was preposterous at first but the more and more I see, I realize it's true. Any 'love' that involves expectations, judgements, rules, 'whats in it for me', and focus on specific people is special love. Only when love is applied to everyone and everything equal is it Love. Special love relationships in families, among spouses, etc. is a limited form of love BUT it can be transformed into the kind of love that is non-ego-centric.

Sure I have. Its a double edged sword my friend, be careful. Would I want to again? No.

For the experience and the strength I gained, im glad I'v experienced it once. But never again.
