I was at a festival and this couple were selling hot dogs. They has bacon wrapped around the hot dog and had peppers and onions on these. How do you cook a hot dog with bacon without burning both? Also what kind of peppers and onions do you use? This couple was Mexican and they had the best hot dogs ever. They didn't speak much English so I couldn't ask them about this. Please help me out.

Yummy...

Place the hot dog with the bacon in a hot pan with little oil (bacon will melt a bit) on low heat until done

Put mayo, mustard and ketchup, top it with:

Finely chopped white onions
Finely chopped tomatoes
Finely chopped jalapeno chiles (seedless and without veins if you want it milder)
Mix together with little white vinegar, salt and little oil.

maybe they cooked the hot dog... then wrapped the bacon around it... then cooked the bacon(still wrapped on hot dog) cook slowly ... and then add the other ingredients...

or the cook the bacon then wrap it around..

my friend once went to subway... and she ordered one that had bacon on it... and this is how they cooked it... the just popped it in the microwave for like 20 seconds... and then they put the bacon in...

so she wasn't sure if it was cooked... so she just took it out afterwards...

i'm no longer vast fan - I only lead them to at the same time as i don't sense like cooking "genuine" nutrients. Grilled and blackened with mustard or from time to time sauerkraut, which I only discovered contained in the superb couple years is unquestionably scrumptious inspite of the reality that it seems and scents gross.

I like chilli meat sauce and finely chopped onion.

I would like to try chopped chrispy bacon as topping too..., wrapped around is fattening!
