Some may be flirting, others are just being jerks. I would respond with...."because I dont know your name and you seemed like someone I would like to talk to......but if your your name is such a secret I understand"
Then, turn and walk away. If shes flirting she will follow you and apolgize. If shes a jerk, she will just stand there.
Filter out the nice ones from the jerks.

Um, I hate to break it to you but when girls say, "why do wanna know" I don't think they're flirting. It also depends on the way she says it if she says it all cute she is probably waiting for a clever remark.

It's not considered flirting unless they smile and giggle. She may just be curious to know more about you etc and then she may flirt.
