Many of you wrote you thought it was my lymph nodes but the thing is it is in a different place than my lymph nodes, it's literally behind my jaw right under my right ear. Lymph nodes are under the neck, this is a different area. Please if you have any more ideas let me know.

Had a friend who had a lump right where you describe - looking straight on at him I could see it - right about at the bottom of his ear lobe where the jaw line curves up. It was a lymph node - and it was cancer. See a doctor.

It may have something to do with the spot where your upper and lower jaw connect. Lymph nodes are everywhere in your body but seem to cause the most problems in your neck area.I hope it turns out to be nothing serious.

i have a few friends that had those bumps behind their ears. And it is the lymph nodes and they both tested positive for HIV/AIDS. Which most people with HIV develop some kind of cancer..get that checked out..have a biopsy done

This is a guess. My Mother had a scar from Mastoid surgery in that general area from when she was a girl.
Do some research on the Mastoid and see if anything seems to match up.

i read the persons answer that maybe it is the mumps...but it could be a infection in your glands....so i would check with the doctor....
