Do you want to work on Sunday?

It comes from the Christian beliefs of the founders of this country.

Now here's something interesting - if this is still why mail is not delivered on Sunday, then why are religious displays in government places so wrong? Doesn't it boil down to the same thing, separation of church and state?

Because that is the way it should be, the way it used to be. people didn't work on the sabbath. it was a rule to which God wanted us to apply. Everyone needs a day of rest every week. but we live in the new testament not the old. We do not follow the rules of the Isralites today. We are free to follow Jesus.

Poor letter carriers have to have a day off. Forget all the propaganda about the postal service. I have know several postal workers who have had to undergo psychotherapy because of the horrible working conditions within the postal service. Supervisors are Nazis.

It's because the federal government worships the Sun God Isis. Sunday is a day devouted to Isis AKA Satan.

gee, i think it has something to do with the religious day of rest. hhmmm, thought we were supposed to seperate church and state - guess that only counts when it's not an imposed federal non work day like sunday, christmas, easter, etc.

BTW -- super question!!!!! funny how religion comes in handy sometimes and is shunned at others!
