Why are men interested in woman that are unavailable, and when the woman becomes available they no longer seem interested?

Hey "Booty," this is NOT a gender specific issue. When I was single I was always having difficulty meeting girls. But since I have been married, I have been approached by a whole lot more women than I ever was when I was single. Let me put it like this, I do not cheat on my wife, but if I had a mind to cheat, it certainly wouldn't be a problem finding a willing accomplice. So, women are just as bad as men when it comes to wanting what they can't have...
With that said, I think it's as much the thrill of the chase. Seriously, sometimes the chase could be as much or more fun than the actual catch.

Oh yes the thrill of the chase! It is simply our animal nature. Girls and Guys alike. We always want what we can't have. And by not actually ever commiting we are protecting ourselves from being hurt. Its fear. We all crave success...and rejection is a hard thing to swallow. So in a way it is easier to long for something that isn't possible.

I think it's in-bred, but not all guys are like that, keep looking you'll find one that's not, I know I finally did hopefully anyway, God knows I've had too many losers up to this point. LO.L
