One of my friends, who is like an older brother to me, wants me to go out with this one girl. He is dating her older sister. I've already tried to have a relationship with the girl, but was unsuccessful. What should I do?

I'm trying to do anything. He keeps pushing me to do something. I already tried to have a relationship with this girl though, we're not exactly friends.

He's never been my wingman. He was my center snare (leadership) during highschool and we still hang out. I tried to date this girl back in highschool.

Tell your buddy youve already been down that street and its a dead end. Tell him you learn from your mistakes and you dont make them twice. Be polite but firm. If he doesnt accept it he has control issues.

If at first you don't succeed, try try again. At least this time she'll tell her sister that she doesn't want to go out again and your friend will thank you for trying. Has he ever been your wing man?

Tell him you appreciate it but it didn't work. Let him know that he's a great friend but shouldn't play match maker for you...

Stop trying so hard. Let it go-- do what you feel is right, not what someone else wants you to do.
