you hit it right on the head, my friend - if there isn't money attached to it, our US players aren't as interested - that is a fact - my buddy and I were just discussing this very fact - if the winning team got to split up $20 million, I bet the US wins running away

You win some and you lose some. This time around the Europeans proved to be the better golfers. I think you are correct, the guys who may not be the big stars might make the best Ryder Cup team members.

of path it has! in the final 26 years the U. S. has hosted it at here classes: 2002: Oakland Hills, Michigan 1999: Brookline, Massachusetts 1995: o.ok.Hill, long island 1991: Kiawah Island, South Carolina 1987: Muirfield Village, Ohio 1983: Palm sea coast Gardens, Florida back to this three hundred and sixty 5 days's Ryder Cup: undesirable success in coming 2d to a team from little-previous Europe, yet we WHUPPED your BEHINDS something sturdy (no gloating there, honest)

I think they gave all they had and were beaten by a stronger team. If there would have been an incentive like OWGR (Official World Golf Ranking) points, maybe in some situation they would have been more prudent.

I am with you. The big boys just don't have the heart or desire to play in this type of event. I say let the 'hungry players' give it a go - they certainly can't do any worse

Well, all you could say is this...... They have sponsors that pay them for each round of golf, so....technically thats getting payed. But, I really think that Europe might have still one due to their putting. USA wasnt bad, it was the fact that Europe was better.
