It depends. If your school throws a big (formal) party for these things, wear a dress shirt and some nice pants with a nice pair of shoes (like a suit, without the coat). If it's more casual, wear a nice polo with some khaki's. That always looks nice. (Hint-If you aren't sure whether or not the homecoming is casual or formal, ask an upper-class man. They normally have some clue as to which it is)

well, a nice sport coat, button down dress shirt, tie, nice pants and a nice pair of shoes......trust me- as a freshman girl, its the best thing. also, i have seen what my brother wore to homecoming for 4 years- it never fails. if you still dont feel like you know what to buy, ask a close guy friend(one who wont make fun of you for asking for fashion advise) and see what he says. hope you have a great time:)

A nice, dressy shirt (tucked in), black slacks, and a tie that matches what your date is wearing.

Why not go naked. It will make a statement and you don't have to worry about clashing with your date. Just kidding. Ask your date to suggest something most women will want your outfit to compliment theirs.
