The church without walls, the church of Jesus Christ the Son of the living God! Its not about attendance, denomination, fancy buildings, or TV shows. It is all about Jesus Christ:

His Word
His Teachings
His Promise to His People

Grace and Peace!

Jesus built one church. He did not say, "I will build my churches" (plural), rather, he said, "my church" (singular). There is but "one body," or church (Eph. 4:4; Col. 1:18). If Jesus is the founder of all denominational churches, he did not tell the truth when he said, "I will build my church." If he fathered and fosters the churches of denominationalism, he should have said, "I will build my churches."
we know that Jesus kept his promise. He built his church and established his kingdom (Acts 2:47; 5:11; Col. 1:13, 18). His death reconciles men unto God in the church (Eph. 2:16). Only in the church, or kingdom of Christ, is one delivered from the power of darkness (Col. 1:13, 18). In the church, one gives glory to God through Christ (Eph. 3:21). You cannot be right about Jesus if you are wrong about his body, the church (Heb. 12:22-28; 1 Pet. 2:5-9). It has to be BIBLICAL BASED as well...FOLLOWS ONLY the bible.

How do I know which religion is right?
This is a difficult question to answer because it involves discussing some principles that the person you are witnessing to may or may not agree with. For example, does he or she agree with you that truth is knowable, that God would attempt to communicate with His people, or that only one religion may be right? Usually, I start by acknowledging the difficulty of coming to an easy answer. However, I tell them that I do have an answer; I am sure it is the right one, because it is an answer based on evidence. What kind of evidence? Prophecy and its fulfillment (see question # 34), Jesus and His miracles, the resurrection of Christ, etc. Then I ask that person if he or she knows of these things happening in other religions.(1) The answer is invariably, "No." Then I point out that they have only happened in Christianity. If any religion were true, Christianity fits the bill.

If someone told you the truth and showed you from the bible it was the truth would you believe it?
No probably not? The best place to hide a leaf is in a forest.
That is what Satan has done. Hid the truth in among a world of conflicting views on religion. The simple truth of the way things are has been hidden. He gave Adam and Eve a chance to live forever on the earth. They disobeyed and died.
So he waited to get enough good people to fill the earth with kind people. forgiving people. Matthew 5: that chapter tells the kind of people who will be there. To bad for Adam he wasn't thinking about pleasing God.

I would say that there are no "TRUE" churches or religions but each church or religion has "TRUE" followers. Choose the Church which works for you but be sure to follow their beliefs. Obviously their are some "right" or "wrong" churches since religion is man's way of interpreting God and man will as usual put his foot in it. Look rather for spirituality which is not about rules and ceremonies but about raising your inner self towards God.

Not a denomination...

Some "non-denominational" churches follow denominational teaching and some others use only the Bible.

Look for a church that uses scripture ONLY.

Look for one who's "government" follows the pattern defined in the New Testament. - Only local control, no national or world headquarters. Elders, pastors, shepherds, bishops, presbyters, overseers.. the New Testament uses all of these words to describe the same people, actually they are 3 sets of synonyms, on a LOCAL LEVEL.
--Acts 20:17 From Miletus, Paul sent for the elders of the church at Ephesus.
... 28 “Keep watch over yourselves. Keep watch over all the believers. The Holy Spirit has made you leaders over them. Be shepherds of God’s church. He bought it with his own blood.
- All 3 Greek word roots are here, clearly in reference to the same group of people.

Look for one that follows the pattern set forth many times through the book of Acts regarding how a person becomes a Christian. Hear and believe, repent sin and confess Christ, receive Christian baptism. -We see this pattern repeated throughout Acts.

If there is a true church, Islam is it's polar opposite.

A "true" churches teaches from the bible only. And, of course, emphasizes the only way to the Father is by the son.
