I'm 4' 11" and I'm in the 25 percentile for my height and my weight and the doctor says I'm only supposed to get 5' 2" of 3" how can I get taller than that or is that ok?

That's ok! All my life I worried about my height. I'm 5'7" as a guy and height's never been an issue for me in my adult life.

Anyway I usually find that shorter women have more say in who they date. I find girls your height really attractive, but so do 6' tall guys. You won't have any problems!

You can't change genetics. I was tall for my age at 5' 4" at 12 but now I'm 30 I'm only an inch taller. You'll just have to be patient and wait and see.

You don't say how old you are. You are who you are and it's okay that you are a bit short. Do you come from a short family. If you are 12 or so, you really haven't started a growth spurt. My grandson won't be 5 until November, and he wears size 8 clothes because he is so tall. It would be nice to be average, but sometimes it's just not meant to be.

It's okay because we were all created different heights and different weights. However, if you do want to make yourself taller you lie on one of those 1500's tables, strap yourself in and and ask 2 macho huge guys to pull your arms and legs as hard as they can..

God says it's ok. got milk, drink it. allot, everyday. some people don't have legs. some do and can't walk. you have a mind, surpass your limits, the ones you don't even have, except your own mind. you've created your own prison. let yourself out and learn all that you can. get a g.e.d. or high school diploma, then a bachelors, then a masters, then a doctrine keep going, reach for the stars. my brothers did. i have two brothers with, austiogenesisimperfecta (the brittle bone challenge), nothing stops them. they don't complain. i do all the time, you see, i am guilt ridden'... i see a miracle everyday... some people don't believe in God... tonight, when you hit your knees ask God for me one thing, to help us all through this planet school, will you???

My wife is 5 ft tall....and I have no problem with short women.

If you don't get any taller don't fret about it. A lot of men like perky short women. My wife gets plenty of attention at work to feed her ego. She is short and petite.

That is okay, people are made differently for a reason, you special talents are not in how tall you are unless you play basketball. Be proud of who you are, work hard an make a difference in the world. Do the best you can do!!!

Depends how old you are. If it's in your genes, than sorry, you aren't going to get taller. If it's something that is incredibly distressing for you, ask your doctor about hormone therapy. Synthetic growth hormone is one option. As with any treatment, it does have risks. But you should learn to be happy the way you are.
