"Ask and you shall be given " this is a biblical verse that puzzles me . it makes me think that God having given us the power of choice also gave us the power to self determination . ie what you shall be and how you shall die . This verse postulate that God requires a Plan from us before he intervenes to either promote or suppress your plan . What happens to those that do not "ask" ( foward their Plan to him .Social science investigations and finding agree to the need for a Plan for any thing to be achieved . What are your detail thoughts and experiences to this observation

It has always been a goal for me to have my own house, which I currently do. I have also travelled 49 of the 50 states (another goal). God has been good to me that is the truth.

God has always had your life planned out for you and even though you may think that you have to ask god for your plan this is not true, when you are at your most desperate he will help you overcome this, but this does not mean he is going to make your life better it just means he will help you and look out for you now and forever

Yes, God participated in my goals that if my goals line up with his word and his plans for my life. God and my goals in life go hand in hand. If I walk away from God's will and plans for my life then I can't expect my own goals to come to pass. Shalom

I prefer to participate in the goals that God has given me and let him lead the way. He seems to know what I need and He makes me happy every time..

This asking is refering to things that are in harmony with the working out of Gods will and purposes, not our own selfish plans.

If we want help to keep clean of immoral practises for example or want courage to tell people the truth about God and the bible - these are the things we can ask for and He will help us.

i am interested in palm reading,i used 2 believe we r given a plan, our own fate by some1,or something,it may be true,we cant agree or deny this, because of little information we posess, but i do believe that nomatter what the sighns our hands say about our life we can change our destiny, during our life, lines on our hands r changing, that means we can be in charge of our lives. The lines on my hands say i'll die at 45 and will never marry or have children, but i know that i can intrvene this plan given by some1 to me.

I trust God to set my goals. They are more challenging and satisfying than those I would set myself.
