For me both racist statements and homophobic statements are unacceptable. And I am a believer. Many Christians think they have received the Holy Spirit while they have not and do not know that by dividing they are getting so far away from what Christ intended. Personally I think many Christians and their attitudes really hurt Jesus/// Like, to be associated with that bunch... Plus you gotta work on yourself, do not point out what you see wrong in others..And the whole "I do this or say this because otherwise I won't go to heaven" instead of it coming from within is the stone that will drop on them if they do not change...So if I were them I would go within for a change and seek God for a CHANGE as they give Jesus a bad name.. And ask for forgiveness for having done that too, or does this rant make me now the bad guy?? ;) Do I go to hell for not hating homosexuals?? We are all One.. Love

Christians are a group of people who are trained, early on, to not question anything the church tells them is so.
One of the things the church (bible, etc) tells them is that homosexuality is a choice and it is a bad choice.
So, ever faithful to their position as sheep, Christians believe that Homosexuality is a bad decision made by godless perverts, but race is God's way of making Earth a more colorful place to live.

They need to get their priorities straight there are more important things to deal with. They just think its okay "because the bible says so". Worst circular reasoning ever: Why is the bible real? Cause God says so. Why is God real? Because the Bible says so! I get dizzy just reading it.

Because racism and homosexuality are BOTH SIN?

1Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

Some of you used to do those things…

I don't see how it is acceptable. It's just as prejudice as a racist remark.
