hmm... I like something my grandmother made last christmas eve... It was called angel's kiss . I think it was just egg nog, Kahlua, and a splash of vodka... very little vodka though. I think pretty much the kahlua and egg nog you pour in as how much you want. per your own taste i guess... anyway it was pretty good.

Gluehwein!
"Gluehwein is a German/Austrian winter-holiday drink that most tourists know as an after-ski drink. After you come in out of the snow, it is supposed to make you glow with warmth again. Watch it: Since you drink this wine warm, the alcohol goes to your head extra quick! Drink when you really have come in, and do not have to go out again! "
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup water
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cinnamon stick
1 orange
10 whole cloves
1 (750 milliliter) bottle red wine
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DIRECTIONS:
In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and cinnamon stick. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer.
Cut the orange in half, and squeeze the juice into the simmering water. Push the cloves into the outside of the orange peel, and place peel in the simmering water. Continue simmering for 30 minutes, until thick and syrupy.
Pour in the wine, and heat until steaming but not simmering. Remove the clove-studded orange halves. Serve hot in mugs or glasses that have been preheated in warm water (cold glasses will break.)

amaretto sour. we have it every christmas... I don't know if it is exactly a holiday drink, but we love it.
2 to 3 oz amaretto almond liqueur
2 to 3 splashes sweet and sour mix
Pour the amaretto liqueur into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Add two or three splashes of sweet and sour mix, and shake well. Strain or pour into an old-fashioned glass, garnish with a maraschino cherry and a slice of orange, and serve.
You can also put the amaretto and sweet and sour mix in a blender with ice cubes to make it a frozen drink... We usually put a teaspoon of powdered sugar on top and garnish with an orange... The orange scent is awesome while drinking it! It really makes it wonderful!
