Hi I am a single 33 male who struggles with A.A.D.D "Adult Attention Deficit Disorder ". I work hard and make about $800.00 dollars a month and live in a house my mom a step dad own and would move out if there was anyway I could get accidences to live on my own finically but don’t want to struggle with some of the offices of welfare I just want to work and be secure in my home but feel if I had my own place if I tried to everything from my job and keeping a car running and on the road will or would fall apart even thought I am secure in my job. I wish there was some way that if I had a true need for money to keep my own place and my car on the road.
That if in North East Pennsylvania if there was a organization that would or in fact could or would help me I would consider taking the burden of living where I am at to some where else please help.

My experience has been that there is little help for people with ADD. (Or AADD.) It is not normally recognized even as a learning disability.

If you really feel like your situation is being impaired by your "disability," you should see your psychologist/psychiatrist to see what your options are. They would have a better understanding of your limitations and may be able to refer you to some sort of income support.

There is very little resources out there to help an adult with AADD. But there are some places that might be able to help, try EasterSeals, Halfway houseing, and other places.

If your not seeing a counslor find one, they can do wonders sometimes in helping one find resources needed to be independent.

Good Luck.

diverse spouses would only make me multi-extra-broke than i'm now. If i choose extra "companionship" (aka: friendship), i will locate it everywhere without declaring the "I do's". something of your question appears like that previous fool element that Hillary Clinton suggested, "It takes a village to toughen a baby." BULLL SHEEEIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!! It takes 2 very dedicated Christian adults. God Bless you.
