The guy I like asked me out, but he's my brother's best friend! My bro knows nothing, and I'm worried he'll be over-protective (I'm 14, hes 16) and freak out. Is it wrong for me to date his best friend?

No, it's not wrong. Perhaps you might want to tell your brother/discuss it with him before he finds out from outside sources.

I have a twin brother and I know that he'd not only kill me if I dated his best friend but he'd also kill his best friend for even thinking about me.
Now that aside, you're 14 and he's 16. That's a large gap at that age. Make sure he's into you for who you are, not into just messing around with you. 16 year old boys usually think about sex 24/7.
It's not "wrong" to date your brothers best friend. I'd just consider having a talk with your brother. Maybe he can give you the down low on this guy. You're brother only has your best interest at heart. I'm sure he just doesn't want you getting your heart broken.

No...definitely not wrong! When I was your age, I had a crush on my brother's best friend...and actually, any guy I dated besides my brother's friends, my brother would give me a hard time. And besides, at 14 I wasn't yet allowed to date, so it was just easier that way.

Nothing wrong with that - but you should speak to your brother about how he feels. He might feel protective, but who better to know if you should be careful about dating his best friend.

Nah, as long as the guy isn't a jerk. Trust your brother's instincts though if he says something like "He's a playa". If he just says "I don't want you dating my friend", then he doesn't think the guy is bad, he just wants you to stay his baby sister.
