The Fruitcake that most peolple are familiar with, in my oponion is very bad. However I make a couple, that my Family and Friends cannot get enough of. Two food items can be exchanged in a regular recipe, that turns the basic fruitcake, into a very delicious cake.
TO DO - USE:
A) Home Dehydrated Dried Fruit, instead of Crystallized, and Glazed fruits.
B) Use any of the following, instead of Brandy or Rum;
** Chambord, Blackberry Liquer
**Crême de Framboise, Raspberry Liquer
**Stolichnaya, Raspberry Vodka
**Stolichnaya, Lemon Vodka
**Wisniowka, Cherry Vodka
These cakes bring guests back for seconds.
