The Bible says that in the last days, Israel will become a nation again. The rapture will happen just before Israel signs a seven year peace accord with the Antichrist. When that peace accord happens, count exactly seven years until Christ returns to earth to setup His Kingdom.
Be ready. The rapture could happen any time.

According to my mom, she was about 18 or so and they predicted it would happen. We're still here. In the year 2000 they predicted it would happen. We're still here. I believe on the 6th of June they predicted it would happen, and you guessed it, we're still here. To me there is a bit of a contradiction when the bible says "The World WITHOUT End". The date of the rapture is a prophecy which means it isn't carved in stone. The whole thing's existance isn't carved in stone. I'm not saying throw Religion out the window, I'm religious and take the bible literally where I can. It's been predicted for a while so don't get worked up about it.
To answer your question in short, some say an asteroid is supposed to hit us in 2012. An asteroid is indeed supposed to pass earth around that year, NASA has put it on the list of near-flying objects.

Everything is based on the word of God ..so let's see what the bible says...Matthew 24:36.But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only....Flesh and blood have no knowledge of the exact day...but God knows ...so the thing is ..be ready ...the bible is our road map and there is alot of information to let us know the things we will see ..because the Disciples asked the same question and what was said is written...read the 24 th chapter of Matthew up to the 35 th verse..God bless

This is the third day of Rosh Hashanah. It could happen any time in the next six days. Or next year, or the next, or...
Nobody knows the day or the hour of His Return. You are better served to spend your time advancing the Kingdom here and now, rather than to wait with bated breath for something that might happen after you die.

This provides yet another example of this perfect instruction manual of god making you all confused. Maybe it's just a pile of nonsense capable of a million interpretation?

Jesus said "No man knows the day or the hour.." But there are things that had to happen that have happened, such as Israel returning, the ability of the Anti-Christ to speak worldwide to the people, and different military craft available.
