Yes. It doesn't matter what time you drink -- as long as there is alcohol in your system and you are at work, it affects your job performance and is wrong. Not to be annoying, but have you considered getting help for your drinking? If you have to drink so much that you still have alcohol in your system the next day, you may have a problem...

It should be.

Think about it this way...if you owned a business, and your income hinged on your workers getting their jobs done quickly, correctly, and efficiently...would you want them at work drunk? Just how productive do you think they'd be? What risk would they be putting you and your company in, if they were injured on the job due to being drunk or hungover?

Find an AA meeting in your area and get help with your drinking problem...before it becomes a problem you cannot deal with alone...

Yes. And it is wrong to be drunk at work because it impairs your ability to do things at your best ability. You may also be unaware of your surrounding and blurt out things that you wouldn't do if you were sober.
There is no reason to get so drunk that you're still wasted the next day. It's disgusting.

Uh... YES !!! I own a company and if I had someone come in drunk that would be it. They would be terminated immediately. Control yourself! My gosh is it that hard not to drink when you know you have to work. That makes you a HUGE liability issue. You don't know how much you could cost your employer in insurance costs going up. That sounds like a question a kid would ask not an adult. GROW UP !

if you can smell it, then its still being under the influence on your job which will get you fired eventually if you dont mess up and get hurt first.

it would be a good idea to figure out why you are drinking so much and really get to the root of the problem.
