Tell him you might be pregnant and see how he reacts. Then actually take a test and be like "oh it was a false alarm" This way you aren't really lying, and you'll know if he really wants to be with you. Also talk to him about marriage to see if he is interested in getting married anytime soon. If he isn't then watch out.

Men who are the marrying kind are usually more stable in their personality, by that I mean that they are not always looking to women for validation, unlike serial seducers.
The serial seducer is usually charming and smooth in his approach. That's because he is used to being around women and has learned what women like and need to hear. Whereas, the average guy who isn't a player can be almost a klutz at times when it comes to saying the right things or making a move on you.
A good way of weeding out the players is to get to know the men in your life a little before starting a sexual relationship with them.
Find out his history - does he genuinely like women, how does he relate to his mother, does he have nice, normal female acquaintances, has he had any significant relationships and what does he have to say about them and so on.
Players are usually disrespectful towards women and this will come out in their demeanour at some point during the dating process. Whether it is a put down towards you, or women in general, or in the way that they behave towards you, like mentioning sex or making a move on you too fast, it is possible to judge whether a man is interested in you as a person rather than as a notch on his bedpost.
