i have a sony camcorder.
Iam using the picture package software.
Iam not able to burn my video cassette into a cd.
reason: in the burn cd process, the drop down list with label "select drive" is empty.
it should show my cd drive letter rite ? eg: e: or f: but it is not showing any drive. so not able to burn to any cd. The cd is in the drive when iam trying to burn the video.

If the drive does not show up in the software then it does not recognize the drive or the drive cannot burn CD's. Only two things come to mind to try.
1. Can you burn CD with any other software? If so then get the latest updates from the maker of the software.
2. If not then your drive might be a reader only or it is not compatible with the software. Check the software makers website for hardware compatibility. Buy an external CD-RW Drive for your system.
