Is the Bible Just a book of rules given in story form and if we followed these rules would it be heaven on Earth.
Does that mean all other holey books ar a sham or cheap copy that cetan religins edit to their own ends.

The Bible is God's Word, a guide book for His creation so we know the way to live which is best for us. We can of course choose to live another way but I've personally found that it makes a big mess of things to follow my own rules.

The bible is not a How-to book. It is God's revealed truth to us. the mere reading of any book will not get you to heaven. Only the blood of Jesus can cover your sin and guarantee your salvation. If it is not the Bible, then it is a cheap imitation of God's word. I will not believe anything else. I cannot and call myself a Christian. I do not know why people expect Christians to badmouth the Bible. You would not expect a Muslim to badmouth the Koran, would you? Stop questioning the validity of the Bible and believe it or just leave us alone.

I don't know about the bible but i know for a fact that other holy books are not copy and edits of the bible bcos other religions have been around just as long as it has.

The Bible is the story of creation and the life of Jesus. Others within show their doubts and triumphs. It is easy to tell if other books are shams, if they advocate violence or blind obedience, they are shams.

im not a religious person and i bellieve my own way how we got here ... and i believe that the bible is there as a guide to live your life... like a manual to live a perfect happy life , thats all nothing else..dosnt mean gods real!!

the bible is whatever you want it to be...... Doorstop, book, manual, religious text, evil lies, saviour, or even fuel for a woodburning stove.
