Selnyk, the thought of something like that happening in this country is terrifying in the extreme. I can't imagine so-called intelligent people doing that to their children.

It's Christians like them that make me proud to be an atheist. What they are promoting is no different than the Islamic extremists. These are homegrown terrorists, and I shudder to think of what may happen in 10-20 years.

EDIT: It was this type fanaticism that made me an atheist. I went from a normal home life to THAT after my parents divorced. I doubt the movie shows it, and I can't speak for the people in the movie because I don't know the entire story, but when I was involved with them, dissention was met with violence. They are no better than Al Qaeda(sp?) in my opinion.

Sitting here listening to motivational cd. Couldn't watch the whole thing. Kids are learning and growing up in that kind of atmosphere?

Those adults should be slapped on the knuckles.

I went to a camp like this when I was in my early teens. It was horrible what they put us through psychologically. A couple of times a week they would get everyone all riled up, weeping and throwing themselves on the floor, speaking in "tongues" -- it was mind-boggling.

I was always the one who went back to my cabin and got a box of tissues to hand around to everyone.

I found the video very remniscent of camp, and it's awful.

Yes, I find this not only disturbing but frightening as well. This is the future of Christianity? I guess (for me)that means Salem Massachusetts is not distant past. It could very well be near future.

What makes it even worse, is these kids are not asked if they want to go to this camp. They do not know any better because it has been drilled into them their whole lives. It is tragic and extremely scary.

That is terrifying! I am not saying this lightly, I think that this is the Christian Rights first steps towards militarization, and that when those kids get old enough, all hell will break loose.

WTF???!!!! This is not looking good for this generation of children. Not only do we have the one's who are tired of being picked on and going on killing sprees... but now the parents are teaching the children how to make war on their "enemies". I wonder if these people are any part of Phelp's gang?
