You haven't said where you will be at the time. If its a bar or club then just go for it ,making sure they haven't a partner visiting the loo or evening getting a drink at the bar. if the chemistry is right and you ask politely and SMILE then the answer should be" Yes please " .If the answer is NO and unfortunately there are a lot of rude and ignorant people around today then just walk away and try another girl/boy and be thankful you have escaped some ignorant person

Be straight forward and invite them either over or out for a drink. Example: I hate drinking alone, would you care to join me for a scotch?

Write the following on a large piece of cardboard and place it in front of you while sitting on the pavement against a shop front : - BOOZE PROBLEM TO SUPPORT - ANY SPARE CHANGE. I find this usually works.
