i believe in a higher force wether it be a god or just a plan designed only by the changes in the earths ability to create a viable livving area, this itself can be called evolution and the changes to humanity come hand in and with that including our ability to think and "create" a higher power.
i believe that believing in a god is humanities way of "blaming" someone else and of making ourselves feel better about "the end" i mean think about it if you dies tomorrow would you rather think "ok thats it" or would you like to think "im going to a better place of fluffy clouds and a god that loves me, somewhere i can live forever in a happy atmosphere" ? its easier to believe the latter right? i like to think that evolution gave us this ability and that we were in someways responsible for our own lives and it isnt just a plan i wouldnt want to believe that im destined to live and die working in mcdonalds (i dont, im just trying to explain) i would like to think i make my own destiny !!!! but thats just me if you need religion then thats fine.

I believe in God before all else. I believe He created man and all that exist.

As for some creation God may of used evolution to bring it to the animal or plant it is today. But only God knows how He created His creation.Weather He created it and then made it evolve into something else or He created it like that from the beginning. It is all His will and His creation is perfect evolution or no evolution.

I believe in evolution. In fact, they just found a six million year old skeleton of a child of austrolopithicus? (I probably butchered that) It demonstrates the connection between early monkeys and humans. Early humanoids also climbed trees, and had prehensile toes.

Although I don't believe in god, I do think that it is possible to believe in a higher power and in evolution. Just because the Bible is wrong doesn't mean that there couldn't be a god figure. I don't believe so, but hey, what do I know? I might be wrong and Mormans might be right! Just live your life the way you want, and don't worry about the beliefs of others.

I believe that the Hebrew Bible is myth, much like Greek myths about Zeus and Pantheon of Greek gods.

I believe that Evolution is a very powerful theory explaining the diversity of life on this planet for which there is an overwhelming amount of evidence in support of it, and no verifiable evidence that falsifies it.

I know Christians who consider the Genesis story to be allegory and who believe Evolution. I get along with them just fine.

definitely both.

to those who think you couldn't have both... why not? you don't honestly think EVERY word of the bible was meant dead literally do you? wheres it say that?

Guided Evolution is a concept which combines the 2, god using evolution as a method with which to creat what is, and helping it along once in a while.

it simply makes the most sense. there are parts of evolution as an origin concept that can't be reconciled with science, and there are parts of creation that are directly contradicted by scicence. if you take both in moderation, they fit together perfectly, and compliment eachother.

I don't believe in evolution. I know evolution is a fact. Our model for it is still a touch incomplete, but there is far too much evidence for it to believe otherwise.

There is no evidence of a deity, let alone the implied YHVH deity.

So to answer your question, neither. But I know evolution happens. Evolution's not a religion you 'believe' in.

Evolution is a theory, but you can believe in elements of it and believe in a creator God.
