He does. You are so busy cutting God and his children to pieces that he is not allowing you to see them. Get Jesus into life and learn to love, then God will show you the miracles that he performs day and night.

He does but since big business owns the media they do not want you to know. I have seen 5, but I learned to keep them to myself cuz people reallydo not want to hear about them, and neither would you probably. It would rock you where you do not wish to be rocked. I have been around the world 3 times and believe me God is still doing miracles, can't say any of the ones I witnessed were as big as parting the Reid sea but then there have been no huge cataclism God could use like that one. Saw a pretty good one during the tsunami that would probably not bother you. None of the boat people lost any lives cuz of God. Pretty much the same yes?? They were warned by God you know. Not a single one of over 5000

It all depends on what you consider to be a 'miracle' or 'magic'.
Jesus was basically God in physical form, which he isn't anymore. You could look at life as a test of faith. An example: You're blindfolded and your at the edge of a cliff, someone tells you to walk off the edge, there's a plank below you, would you do it? Would you have faith?
Just because God doesn't extend his hand and wave it at something, doesn't mean he's not working things.

He does. Just not in 'civilized' areas of the planet. You want miracles? Go out to the fringes, where God's Name and Purpose are still unknown. He still works in places like the Phillipines, Vanuatu, China, and Russia. Active, God-trusting missionaries see His Hand at work all the time.

He still does. What you are thinking about is the Bible, Jewish or Christian. He manifested His powers for His people. At that time, it was just one group of people in one area. Now there are believers everywhere. All over the world. Just get involved with one group and you will constently hear stories of His miracles. (like walking on water, the dead coming back to life, food multiplying, and so on)

Here's an explanation I heard from a rabbinical student.
First you must understand that God would not have you believe in Him because of miracles. With that in mind, you must assume that in those days EVERYONE of His people (more or less) already believed in Him. Thus it was OK for Him to perform miracles because they wouldn't be the cause of someone believing. TA DA!
By the way, I'm a non-believer, but these "explanations' always tickle the hell out of me!

Magick is in the eyes of the beholder. Mystical and powerful things happen on a regular basis, we just do not notice or use our rational mind and explain it away.

too many people would go insane.
... seriously... nowadays if that kinda stuff happened out in the open, so many people would just lose it.
but for those who know how to see, these things do happen, just not as out in the open.
but with some luck in the relatively near future (next 100 years...) it might get to where some of that more dramatic stuff can happen.

God does mystical and wonderful things every day. He simply does them in less visible ways. The early miracles were done to show people the way to Him.
