yes he has because it takes great courage and strength to come back and play at such a high level after losing a loved one especially since it was so recent

I would not go as far as to say he is a legend. He is a very popular man not only with the public but with his fellow professionals. You must bear in mind that both Di Marco and Woods lost loved ones quite recently. It was emotional and especially with the tournament being held in Ireland. it was brilliant to see the support he got not only from his team mates and the crowd but also from the Americans. They were truly magnificent before during and after the tournament.

Any person who can get on with their job after a great loss, and be part of a winning team needs a pat on the back. He may not be a legend but he has won the hearts of everyone who watched him what a lovely man god luck to him and his family

A lot a people have to carry on after the loss of a loved one.
Darren Clarke played well, as he should do. He's a pro.
If he was a call centre operative, for example, or a teacher, who had lost his wife, would we all be saying he was a legend?
At the end of the day, he's playing a game for a living and getting extremely well paid for it.
